After a lowering and distinctly unpromising late afternoon, the sun came out and our field trip to Beddington Park suddenly looked more inviting. We met at 19:00, just prior to sunset at 19:27, so had to work quickly to capture the quickly changing light. The clouds were especially picturesque.
Several of us had been in two minds about turning out, given the uninteresting light an hour or so earlier, but it was an excellent chance to meet face-to-face, as a group, before the ‘Rule of Six’ regulations kicked in. I don’t know if any of the photos we took will be ‘keepers’ and find their way into Photocraft competitions, but it was a great excuse to meet up and enjoy a (socially-distanced) chat, with returning and brand-new members.
