Hastings Old Town

Meet around 11:am for those who can make it to Hastings to photograph the old town and seafront. For the best views of Old Town, take one of the two old funiculars that take you up the hills on either side: West Hill, topped by the ruins of the old castle erected by William I after his victory at the Battle of Hastings; or East Hill, the start of a three-mile stretch of lovely coastline that makes up Hastings County Park.

If you are coming please send an email to events@photocraftcameraclub.co.uk so that we know to look out for you.

Rock-A-Nore Road car park can be very busy in the summer so would suggest using the Priory Street Multi-story car park instead, which is near to the town centre and only short walk from the seafront.
