A year in the life of a professional photographer

A year in the life of a professional photographer – Talk by Oliver Wright

Oliver has worked as a guide in Abisko (200km north of the Arctic circle) for nine years in the autumn/winter, both guiding tours and also doing his own photography of wildlife, landscape and auroras. During the spring/summers his focus shifts to wildlife photography and a lot of macro work. Canon have used Oliver on a number of workstreams, a main one being a video of him to support the release of the RF 100mm L macro lens. So during the talk he will go through a mix of his adventures above the arctic circle and also the wildlife macro work he has done over the last 12 months. He will also talk through techniques used and what he has learnt along the way.
