Hi everyone,

This is a short blog entry to let everyone know that Photocraft Camera Club is re-opening online.

Members of our highly skilled IT team have worked tirelessly to be able to create a “virtual meeting” venue that members can access in order to maintain their support for the club. Big thanks are due to Mark B and Chris R for all the preparation work!!

Our first “virtual” evening is taking place from 8pm on Wednesday 1st April 2020 on a computer screen near you. This is our fourth and final Open PDI Competition of the season.

Members will have been sent the details for logging in to the evening already.

It is great to see how many entries we have had for this – thanks to everyone who has put an image in.

The next couple of weeks sees our planned Easter break and so after 1st April, we will next be back on Wednesday 22nd April and are busy finalising the plans to see us through the remainder of this rather different season. So please watch this space…and the website…for news about the revised programme.

In addition to the above, the club intends to give members more opportunities to stay connected and show off their camera and editing skills via the club forum. More on these ideas will be coming in the next couple of weeks so that they can be up and running after Easter and we hope that members will get involved and share their work.

For now, a big thank you to all members for sticking with us and getting involved.

We are all looking forward to seeing each other again soon.
