What a brilliant night of photography we had last Wednesday. We travelled to Mitcham Camera Club for a lively and highly competitive inter-club competition, and came away with a fantastic win.
The evening was expertly judged by Steve Lawrenson, who carefully assessed 20 stunning images from each club across four diverse and challenging set subjects: Action, Impressionist, Seascapes, and Wildlife.
The results were incredibly close, highlighting the consistently high standard of work from both clubs. In fact, each club managed to secure a win in the two set subjects they had specifically chosen to set.
However, the final edge came down to one crucial area. While the scores were neck-and-neck, our fantastic entries in the Seascapes category stood out, giving Photocraft the final points we needed to take the overall victory.
